Part Time Administrative Assistant

20 hours per week, including Mondays and some weekend shifts

Overview: The Administrative Assistant supports the Genesis mission of hope and healing by attending to guest inquiries, attention to detail in guest registrations, data entry, processing payments and generating weekly batch reports to the book-keeper. Working in our Sales Force database, the Administrative Assistant produces program worksheets for registration and to communicate program details to the operations staff, as well as generating acknowledgment letters for guest donations. During weekend shifts, duties include welcoming, greeting and orienting guests, providing support during meal-times, and responding to guest needs to create a welcoming and healing environment.
Between April and September, the Administrative Assistant is assigned additional tasks to support Genesis’ annual Wine Taste fundraiser. An additional 4-20 hours per week is allocated for completion of these tasks.


Position Requirements

Ability to integrate and communicate the Genesis mission of hope and healing through interpersonal behavior and dialog

Excellent phone manner and in-person hospitality to all visitors

Graciousness in negotiating traffic flow and interruptions in lobby environment

Teamwork in covering shifts when office colleagues are sick and on vacation

Desire to grow personally and spiritually


Proficient In

Word and Excel required

SalesForce, Crystal Reports, and Publisher or other graphic design program preferred
