Each of us has an artist inside! Zentangle, the meditative drawing of repetitive, structured patterns, is an easy-to-learn art form, resulting in surprisingly beautiful and unique pieces with every stroke of the pen. Zentangle will expand your imagination and creativity, all the while releasing stress and having fun.

ZIA - Zentangle Inspired Art - is simply the drawing of repetitive Zentangle patterns within the confines of a given shape, for example, an animal, letters, flowers… ZIA can also be combined with Quilling elements (see description below) to create 3-D cards.

Charlene Favreau, CSJ

Quilling, or paper filigree, is an art form that involves paper strips of various colors and sizes that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.

The art of quilling was created at least 600 years ago by French and Italian nuns. Quilling has been raised to an art form today. It is used to add an elegant touch to cards for every occasion, boxes, gift bags, picture frames, jewelry, etc.

It is a very simple craft to learn and does not require any particular tools. Every piece turns out to be a masterpiece of which you will be proud! Just let your imagination and your creativity run wild!

Faith makes all things possible, and love makes them easy. Faith in God is never out of season. Faith justifies the believer, but love justifies his faith by the works which it produces. Faith believes God to be true; love proves faith to be true.
- Charles H. Spurgeon
