SHORT WINTER’S NAP - RESTORATIVE YOGA WORKSHOP
The festive glow of the holidays has passed, but winter's darkness and cold remain. Step out of the season's frigid embrace and experience two hours of body-nurturing, soul-satisfying restorative Yoga. The practice takes place down on the mat in seated and supine/prostrate positions. Gentle movements warm the muscles and joints, preparing the body for extended holdings in a variety of prop-supported poses. When comfortably supported muscles melt into deeper openings, the mind slows into stillness, the heart releases its heavy emotional burdens, the breath flows unimpeded, and the spirit is freed and refreshed. Breath work and guided meditation will bathe you in a pool of profound relaxation from which you will emerge balanced and renewed ~ perfectly restored.
Rekindle your inner glow and shine brightly. Bring your own mat and a sweater or blanket for warmth during the resting phase.
$35. Pre-registration required.
