Retreat begins with 6 p.m. supper on Friday, May 28, and ends with 12:00 p.m. lunch on Monday, May 31.
This 4-day guided retreat integrates the gospel with our call to care for Creation. Sacred Mystery pulsates throughout the universe. Jesus was immersed in this mystery. He drew so much of his inspiration and so many of his teachings from the wisdom and wonder of Creation.
The program includes reflections on the scriptures in light of the Universe Story, the Beatitudes and selected parables. We will engage in the vision and energy that the New Story brings to us, exploring our evolutionary journey and experiencing our oneness with the emergence of the Cosmos.
Participants will reflect on Jesus’ witness to the awesomeness of our Earth using images from Hubble, the artwork of Marion Honors, CSJ, and the photography of Clare Pelkey, CSJ. There will be opportunities for personal reflection, group sharing, creative expression, dance, and plenty of time to commune with the beauty of the Genesis grounds and Arboretum.
Cost: $435. Includes private room and 3 meals a day, access to the contemplative spaces at Genesis, the grounds and Arboretum. During your stay, you may also register for our health and wellness classes and schedule a massage!
Please note! Limited spaces may be available due to pandemic restrictions. Due to uncertainty of pandemic, we are currently not requiring deposits for retreats. Payment in full is due by two weeks before retreat start date.
