Ilia Delio, PhD is a Franciscan Sister of Washington, DC and American theologian specializing in the area of science and religion, with interests in evolution, physics and neuroscience and the import of these for theology. As the founder of the Omega Institute which incorporates the foundational teaching of Teilhard De Chardin, she is viewed as a pioneer and prophet in her writing. She is a creative genius bridging the worlds of science and religion.  In this book she writes that “God is the newness of everything that is and is coming to be. God is ever newness in love. Transcendence, therefore, is the future beyond that draws us in the present movement toward greater wholeness and unity.”

Sister Jane is a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet who has served as the director of spirituality centers in Seattle, Spokane, and Tulsa, Oklahoma. With degrees in education and spirituality and a certificate in expressive arts therapy, she is known for innovative and creative programs and retreats. Jane has taught in several spiritual direction training programs and for the Methodist Formation Academy. She has also designed and led pilgrimages to sacred sites in Nepal, India and Ireland.
