BioSpiritual Focusing provides a way to bring the body's sense of Grace and God into everyday awareness, helping you to become more fully present to yourself, others and the presence of God. Learning takes place in the respectful atmosphere of small groups. The process is based on the work of Dr. Eugene Gendlin, which was further developed by Frs. Peter Campbell and Edwin McMahon. As you practice this life-giving and life-changing process, you will become more aware of the sacred story you carry in your own body and movement of grace in your life.

The Silent BioSpiritual Focusing Rereat will guide you to the deepest levels of awareness inside your body.  A BioSpiritual Focusing session with a retreat director each day will be the practical and simple framework for the retreat.

Prior Focusing experience is necessary.  At a minimum, completion of the Genesis Biospiritual Focusing Day of Presence is required.

Cost: $615. On-site, with private rooms and three meals per day.  You will have access to Genesis's contemplative spaces and the Providence Arboretum. You may also schedule time with our Health and Wellness staff for a massage, meditation or yoga.

$150 deposit.

Faith makes all things possible, and love makes them easy. Faith in God is never out of season. Faith justifies the believer, but love justifies his faith by the works which it produces. Faith believes God to be true; love proves faith to be true.
