- May 14, Challenging Chair: Involves standing postures using the chair, increased strength building and deeper stretches. Sturdy chair, strap and non-slip floor recommended. Intermediate level. Can stand comfortably on your own and balance is stable.
- May 21, Beginning a Home Practice: Megan will talk about ways to incorporate a formal mindbody practice in your home as well as informal practices to stoke wellbeing throughout your day. We will put into action some of those daily informal practices. There will be time to ask any burning questions about your personal practice. Comfortable clothing, floor space and chair recommended. All levels.
- May 28, Tending to Your Mood: Megan will discuss some links to low mood including physical, mental, experiential and societal connections. We will go through some practices that can help relive chronic low mood, stress and inflammation. Class will include a breath practice, two floor or bed postures and a compassionate relaxation meditation. Comfortable clothing, chair, floor accessibility or roomy bed recommended. All levels.
