Spiritual Enrichment

Where have we experienced joy in our lives and where might we being called to find it anew?  Using Pope Francis’ Joy of the Gospel as our basis, we will take a closer look at those moments or times when we have experienced joy and love.  Then we will begin to reflect on where the Spirit may be leading us at this time.  Through prayer, reflection, quiet time, journaling, and discussion we will attempt to delve more deeply into this question of joy and where it is or isn’t in our lives.  Then we will take up the challenges of Pope Francis to discern where God may be sending us to discover joy anew.

I realize of course that joy is not expressed the same way at all times in life, especially at moments of great difficulty.  Joy adapts and changes, but it always endures, even as a flicker of light born of our personal certainty that, when everything is said and done, we are infinitely loved (Joy of the Gospel 6).”

We cannot create knowledge without acting. The focus of this action is (a) to transform the world, (b) to establish interdependent relationships with human beings, with the cosmos and with God.
